What antivirus software are you running? Opens into a small dis style window - follow the instructions therein. I can't change the defaults or open System Restore, and yes, I've tried to Repair in Safe Mode as well. Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com, you should then be able to run it.
Everytime it looks as though I'm making progress, I'm thwarted. First of all I do not have access to the computer from my location as we speak, however I'm thinking this will not correct my problem as the actual dictation of I tried that along with several others previously and no result.
