I did try and found some short-lived success. Does Windows 98 Support Wifi I thought, That leaves it in a state that it usually never works. You will need to have an Ethernet port in the back of the computer, and a card which is supported under Windows 98. For wireless issues, have you disabled all encryption on the router to see if you can connect that way?
