I found a way in, the folder still existed, right clicked on it, found it indeed was still shared, so it kept coming back i guess, so i unshared it, thinking I uninstalled the standard floppy disk installer and the error has gone. My uneducated opinion:Your (and my) primary problem stemmed from NOT having C DRIVE as Local Disk/Hard Drive. Can you boot it at all to an OS? I'm not saying it will solve your problem, but it might be worth while checking your environment variables (probably PATH most specifically) to see if it references folders that no longer I refuse to pay for help on an out-of-the box problem with HP image zone software on a new MEDIA CENTER M7250n PC.
thank you very much, that worked i tried all these stuffs about changing your disk name…. I had this no disk problem and my desktop would blink and the icons disappear as explorer would stop and restart. Obviously each one must have a different letter. The worst part was that it came up a lot during my Spybot scans.

Like the Exception problem says it is looking for a drive, figuring out which program is looking for that drive is the harder solution. Working...
