Windows Live Mail Won't Send Emails

Is the password different from the POP server? I had to change the outgoing stmp to 587 and uncheck the "connect using a secure server." Go to accounts (in the upper toolbar), properties, advanced. I setup the client on my Ubuntu-Linux machine using "Thunderbird", and it worked fine, no problems. All rights reserved.

Unable To Send Email From Windows Live Mail

Turns out that I had to give my router an OK to add the Port ( 465) that was set in the outgoing server on WLM, and now it works perfectly. It's not easy because I don't use Windows 7.
